This site was created, written and developed by Michelle Bogre, former Chair of the Photography Department at Parsons The New School for Design. Bogre stepped down from the Chair’s position in 2008 to return to teaching and to focus on her research. She is an Associate Professor in the photography program, which resides in the School of Art, Media + Technology at Parsons. In 1999 she decided to go to law school because she believed that art and design students should be studying copyright as a defining issue in the 21st Century. She graduated from Cardozo School of Law in 2003 and was admitted to the New York Bar in 2004. She currently teaches both photography and copyright, a subject about which she frequently writes and lectures. She can be reached at [email protected].
